I was so happy to install my two paintings last week at the Gateway Center!
A huge thank you to Noel, Public Art Outreach Program Coordinator, and Damon for their help and guidance with the installation! 
The Gateway Center in ABQ provides emergency shelter, mental health care, addiction support, medical sobering, and housing navigation for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Having my paintings selected for this facility means a lot to me, especially as I’m working on my second master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and am close to starting my practicum and internship.
I think that it’s incredibly important to have artwork in places of healing, and that was evidenced by the response to us hanging the art from people at the facility.
